How to Play Primel: Guess the 5-Digit Prime Number

Welcome to PuzzleVerse’s strategy guide for Primel, the intense number puzzle that marries the Wordle feedback loop with prime number theory.

In Primel, your objective is to guess a hidden five-digit prime number in six tries or fewer. Every guess you enter must itself be a valid 5-digit prime number!

Prime Deduction Strategies

  1. Last Digit Elimination: A five-digit prime number can only end in 1, 3, 7, or 9 (any number ending in 0, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 is composite). That immediately eliminates 6 out of 10 digits for the last slot!
  2. Sum of Digits Rule: If the sum of a number’s digits is divisible by 3, the number is divisible by 3 and cannot be prime. Avoid guessing digit sets whose sum is a multiple of 3.
  3. Learn Starting Primes: Memorize 2 or 3 strong opener primes with distinct digits, such as 13597, 24631, or 80263.
